The Beginning
Harold Mayfield started his first company, Mayfield Builders, Inc. in 1970. He was able to align himself with a few local developers who had a vision of sprawling residential subdivisions. During Harold's career he built over 800 homes, including many in what is currently known as Cherry Hills Subivision in Champaign, IL. Harold had a fruitful career all while building longstanding relationships around the community. Harold passed away in 2005.

Carrying On The Legacy
Dan Mayfield, the eldest son of Harold, helped maintain Mayfield Builders, Inc. for nearly 30 years until he joined Amerwest in 1998. It was Dan's career in the construction industry that fueled the interests of his own sons, David and Todd, to continue on in the family business. Through the 1990's and early 2000's Dan continued to operate Amerwest, while his son David took the reins of his own new venture, Mayfield Concrete Construction, both in the St. Louis region.

Mayfield Construction, LLC Today
Mayfield Construction, LLC, as it's known today, was started in March of 2007 under the watch of Todd Mayfield to help expand the reach of the Mayfield name and return to the community where it all started. In 2009, Dan and David officially returned from the St. Louis Area to help expand Mayfield Construction, LLC.
